About Me

My approach is flexible, fun, and proven. My students don't just improve their grades — they transform their relationship with learning. I have:

  • 30+ years of teaching experience, middle and high school levels

  • Private tutor for 10 years

  • M.A. in Secondary Math Education (Hunter College)

  • B.A. in French (DePaul University), Summa Cum Laude

  • Taught in Chicago, Manhattan, and New Jersey

  • Specializing in grades K–12, including honors and remedial levels

  • Experienced with gifted learners, 504s, and IEPs

Beyond the classroom

When I’m not helping students have their "aha" moments, you'll find me exploring New York City with my husband and two kids, hitting the yoga mat, traveling, lacing up my running shoes, or belting out my best karaoke performance. A love of travel means I’m always planning the next adventure — and bringing back a few good stories to share with my students.

I believe that a full, joyful life makes me a better teacher. My curiosity, energy, and sense of humor show up in every session — making learning feel less like work and more like a conversation.
